Council took three actions on improving the condition of the Ohio Theatre, which also is in the village office building. It contracted NSN Remodeling, Loudonville, to repair damages in the theater ceiling, not to exceed $1,000; and it asked for more information on proposals to install new rear exit doors and restrooms to the stage area of the 1909-vintage building.

The theater improvements are part of a joint village council-recreation baord effort to upgrade the building so it can host live performance as well as films in the future.
