Theatre Benefit Tickets On Sale Nowe
Tickets are on sale now for the first Ohio Theatre benefit scheduled for Saturday, August 26 and may be purchased at the following downtown Loudonville establishments: Radio Shack, The Loudonville Times Office, Lingenfelter Jewelers and Loudonville Video.
Also tickets for the four Theatre boxes located on either side of the stage are on sale now. These high profile seats will be sold for $40.00 each, (4 seats total per box), and reserved together as a group for the 7:00 pm evening performance of the Loudonville Players. Each of the upper and lower boxes will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis and can be purchased by contacting Loudonville Theatre Advisory Committee Chairperson Kerry MacQueen at (419) 994 - 0777 or Committee Member Suzanne Ferencak at (419) 994 - 0610.
On Saturday, August 26, The Loudonville Theatre Advisory Committee has put together a fun filled day of events to be held at the Ohio Theatre located on 156 N. Water Street. Events will include costumes, prizes and other surprises.
They are:
- From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., free Historical Tours of the Ohio Theatre, running every 20 minutes.
- From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., $5, Wizard of Oz Movie, free popcorn for character costumes.
- From 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., free, The Paradise Valley Singers & The Bridge Street Music Co.
- From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., $10, The Loudonville Players with musical performances from Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Guys & Dolls, Fiddler Roof & Brigadoon; Past, Present & Future perspectives from Jim Sharp, Curator of the Cleo Redd Fisher Museum, Loudonville Mayor Betty Welsh, and Jesse Wolff, President of the LHS Art Club.
- And from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., for $5, another showing of The Wizard of Oz, this time with the music from Pink Floyd's, "Dark Side of the Moon" played in synchronization with the film.
